School Discipline & Code of Conduct for Students

Punctuality and regular attendance are compulsory. A minimum of 75% attendance is required for examinations.

Absence must be explained through the Non-Attendance Record in the Almanac; medical absences require a doctor’s certificate.

Entry to campus is permitted only after 8:30 a.m. before 9.05 am, late arrivals not expected, if arrived late, must explain it reasonably.

Proper school uniform, polished shoes, neat hair, and trimmed nails are mandatory. Girls with long hair must wear plaits; skirts must be knee-length.

Students must carry their identity card daily and bring books according to the timetable.

Respect for school property, surroundings, teachers, staff, and peers are essential. Any collective damage will be charged to the entire class.

Permission and an out-pass are required to leave class. Orderly conduct is expected in corridors and staircases

English is the medium of instruction and must be spoken in school.

Bullying, ragging, or use of foul language is strictly prohibited and must be reported immediately.

Students are expected to uphold the name and honour of the school at all times.
Prohibited Behaviour

Irregular attendance, habitual late coming, or leaving campus without permission.

Disobedience, neglect of homework, or disrespectful behaviour towards staff.

Scribbling, graffiti, damaging property, or gluing stickers/posters on school premises.

Buying eatables from street vendors or engaging in unruly behaviour such as shouting, jeering, mocking, or whistling.

Bullying, ragging, or being present in restricted/secluded areas without permission.

Collecting money or donations without prior written approval of the principal

Smoking, use of tobacco, or any substance abuse.

Posting defamatory or misleading content about the school, staff, or students on social media or blogs is strictly prohibited
Prohibited Items

Jewellery, trinkets, henna, tattoos, or expensive personal items.

Mobile phones, iPods, CDs, DVDs, pen drives, cameras, e-games, and obscene material.

Crackers, fireworks, firearms, inflammables, tobacco, alcohol, chewing gum, and banned food items.

Toys, dangerous instruments, or any object that could cause harm

Distribution of gifts, including birthdays, within school premises.
Library Rules

All students are members of the library and must maintain discipline and silence.

Books must be returned on or before the due date; damage or marking is prohibited.

A clearance certificate from the librarian is mandatory before applying for a Transfer Certificate.

Library fines: ₹1 per day for late return; replacement or payment required for lost books.
Medical Aid

A well-equipped sick room is available for first aid and emergencies.

An annual medical check-up is conducted by qualified doctors; reports are shared with parents.

Parents will be informed in case of accidents or emergencies; however, the school is not liable for adverse outcomes despite due care.
Guidelines for Parents

Rules are framed with the child’s safety, well-being, and education in mind

Students cannot attend phone calls during school hours.

Teachers are not permitted to provide private tuitions to their own students.

Student’s personal and medical records must be submitted on the first working day.

Parents should check the school diary daily and support timely completion of assignments.

Any change in contact details must be updated with the class teacher.

Parents/guardians are not allowed to enter classrooms or meet teachers without prior appointment.

Polythene bags are banned on campus.

Communication to school should be addressed to the Principal on A4 paper or via email.
